Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. In her role as Artistic Director at SSC she also served as the costume designer and set designer for the production as well as the composer/music director and as the text coach. In her last year she was the director as well as a lighting designer in the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble and in this year's production began her first directorial experience.
